Camprodon is a municipality located in the Ripollés region, next to the Ter river and surrounded by mountains and an impressive natural landscape.

Known for its rich history and cultural heritage, Camprodon has numerous historic buildings and monuments that bear witness to its long and rich tradition.

From Camprodon you can easily access other towns and Girona, which makes it an ideal place for those who want to enjoy nature and the culture of the area.

Sant Pere Monastery

Sant Pere Monastery

In the 10th century, the Bishop of Girona Severus Dei consecrated a church dedicated to Sant Pedro. In the middle of the same century, Count Guifré II of Besalú founded it as a Benedictine monastery.

Its ornamentation is austere and, architecturally, it is a building with a Latin cross plan with five square apses and a bell tower.

Pont Nou

Pont Nou

The Pont Nou of Camprodon rises over the River Ter and its silhouette is one of the most characteristic emblems of the town.

Its structure is made up of two arches, one large and one small, and faces Sant Roc street.

It was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1976.

The Camprodon Valley has many hiking trails. Its landscape diversity makes it the ideal place to enjoy the mountains.

You can explore the surroundings of Camprodon on foot and discover and enjoy all the fountains and walks that surround the town. Also the Hermitage of Sant Antoni, where you can contemplate the magnificent view of the entire valley.

  • Stage 08: Beget - Setcases
  • Stage 09: Setcases - Sanctuary of Núria
